Uusinnoissa noudatetaan liiketalouden tutkinto-ohjelman uusintakäytäntöä (ks. Tutkintosääntö 27 §). Hylätyn oppimistehtävän (raportti, essee, ryhmätyö, esitys, tms.) voi uusia opintojakson päättymisen jälkeen. Uusinnasta tulee sopia opintojakson opettajan kanssa heti hylätyn arvioinnin saamisen jälkeen tai viimeistään 3 kk opintojakson päättymisen jälkeen (=toteutussuunnitelmaan kirjattu päättymispäivä). Jos opintojakso loppuu touko-kesäkuussa, tulee opettajaan olla yhteydessä 4 kk:n kuluessa. Mikäli opiskelija ei ole annetun aikarajan puitteissa yhteydessä opettajaan tai mikäli opiskelija ei palauta tehtävää opettajan kanssa erikseen sovitun aikarajan mukaisesti, tulee opiskelijan ilmoittautua kurssille uudelleen. Jos opintojakso on jäänyt selvästi kesken tai opiskelijalta puuttuu useita oppimistehtäviä, opintojakso tulee suorittaa uudelleen.

Retakes follow the retake policy of the Degree Programme in Business Administration (see Section 27 of the Degree Regulations). A failed learning assignment (report, essay, group work, presentation, etc.) can be retaken after the course has ended. The retake must be agreed upon with the course teacher immediately after receiving the failed grade, or at the latest within 3 months after the course has ended (i.e. the end date recorded in the implementation plan). If the course ends in May or June, the teacher must be contacted within 4 months. If the student does not contact the teacher within the given time frame, or fails to return the assignment within the separately agreed deadline, the student must re-enroll in the course. If the course was clearly left incomplete or the student is missing several learning assignments, the course must be retaken in full.

- Tiedonhankinta (Hokkanen): läsnäolo 90 min etä-/lähikoulutuksessa ja tehtävät Moodlessa.

The content of the course will be reviewed in the first class, and attendance at the orientation (Lecture 1) is mandatory. If you have to be absent from the orientation, for example due to illness, please find out about the course from a fellow student who is also taking the same course. Otherwise, participation in the contact teaching is voluntary.
The anatomy and physiology part includes contact teaching and the student's independent work. Contact teaching is designed so that the lessons review the subject area that the student has studied in advance. A prerequisite for learning is that the student familiarizes himself with the topic of the class, for example by studying the topic from a book and doing possible tasks. In contact teaching, the most important and most difficult issues are addressed by reflecting, asking questions and discussing.
NOTE! Distance learning is distance learning and contact teaching is contact teaching. Contact teaching cannot be done remotely.
Contents and content-specific objectives:
- Tissues: The student understands the structure of the basic tissue types and the way in which they form organs.
- Blood and the structure and function of the circulatory system: The student knows the composition of blood, knows its importance in maintaining homeostasis and transporting various substances and its role in human thermoregulation. The student understands the role of blood in the body's immune system / defense mechanism and knows the process of blood clotting. The student knows the structure of the heart and its role in circulatory system, and knows the large blood vessels and their structure. The student understands the basic factors affecting the formation of blood pressure and the importance of blood pressure for hemodynamics. The student knows the terminology related to blood pressure and understands the basics in regulation of blood circulation.
- Structure and function of the respiratory system: The student knows the respiratory tract and the structure of the lungs. The student can explain pulmonary ventilation, gas exchange in the alveoli, gas transport in the blood and understands the importance of cellular respiration. The student understands the importance of ventilation in maintaining homeostasis, knows the regulation of ventilation and respiratory volumes.
