Opintojaksoon kuuluu seminaarityöskentely, joka edellyttää aktiivista osallistumista ja ryhmässä työskentelyä. Seminaariesityksissä on läsnäolovelvollisuus. Hyväksytyn suorituksen edellytykset seminaarista:

oman aiheen ryhmätyöhön aktiivinen osallistuminen ja esittäminen

Opintojaksoon kuuluu CBCL-ryhmätyöskentely, joka edellyttää aktiivista osallistumista ja ryhmässä työskentelyä. CBCL-purkutilaisuudessa on läsnäolovelvollisuus.
Opintojaksoon kuuluu taitopaja 4 h, joka on läsnäolovelvollinen ja tapahtuu Taitokeskuksella.
Myöhästyminen tunnilta katsotaan poissaoloksi.
Mahdolliset poissaolot (syystä riippumatta) on korvattava osallistumalla toisen ryhmän vastaavalle tunnille.
Taitopajaan on ennakkotehtäviä, joiden suorittaminen kuuluu hyväksyttyyn suoritukseen.

Ensimmäisen vuoden opinnoista 30 op suoritettuna, sisältäen opintojakson lääkehoito ja lääkelaskut. Osallistunut laskimonsisäinen nestehoito ja verensiirto toteutukselle.
Ilmoittautumisajan umpeuduttua ilmoittautumisia toteutukselle ei oteta vastaan.
Toteutukselle osallistumisen edellytyksenä on ilmoittautuminen toteutukselle ennakkoon ennen ilmoittautumisajan päättymistä ja 100% osallistuminen orientaatioon.
Itsenäisesti suoritettavia tehtäviä on kurssilla 8, joista kaksi pienryhmiin liittyviä. Jos osallistut pienryhmiin, nämä kaksi tehtävää pakollisia.
Pienryhmätyöskentelyyn osallistuminen edellyttää niihin liittyvien/ niille kerroille osoitettujen itsenäisten tehtävien palauttamista ennen pienryhmätyöskentelyä.
Kaikki itsenäiset tehtävät on ajoitettuna Moodlessa ja ne on tarkoitus tehdä ennen ko. aihealueen opetuskertaa. Palauta tehtävät Moodleen. Itsenäiset ennakkotehtävät löytyvät kurssin Moodlealustalta. Tehtävät esitellään kurssin orientaatiossa.
Jos teet itsenäiset tehtävät määräaikana, saat 1 pisteen jokaisesta tehtäväalueesta.
Kurssin arviointi:
Anestesia- ja leikkaushoitotyön kysymyksistä tulee saada puolet oikein päästäkseen läpi. Itsenäisistä tehtävistä voit tämän lisäksi saada maksimissaan 8 pistettä (8 x 1p). Tehtävien pistemäärä sisällytetään hyväksytyn lopputentin kokonaispistemäärään, josta muodostuu kurssiarvosana.

Please note that Anatomy and Physiology 3 is part of the second-year (third semester) studies according to the curriculum. Students are required to have participated in the Anatomy and Physiology 1 course.
The first session will cover orientation topics, so attendance is highly recommended. If you are unable to attend the orientation, you are responsible for obtaining the course information from a fellow student attending the same implementation.
The anatomy and physiology section includes both in-person teaching, small group working, and independent study. Contact teaching is designed so that the topics discussed in class have been studied in advance by the student. Successful learning requires that the student familiarizes themselves with the topic beforehand, for example by reading the textbook and completing any assigned tasks. In contact teaching, the focus is on the most important and challenging topics through reflection, questions, and discussion.
**NOTE! Remote teaching is remote teaching, and contact teaching is contact teaching. Contact teaching cannot be followed remotely.**
Contents and learning objectives:
- Structure and function of the musculoskeletal system:
The student identifies the major bones of the body and their structures and understands how joints between bones are formed. The student can explain the structure of a joint and understands its function. The student understands how muscles contract, can identify superficial muscles, and knows how they move the joints.
- Regulation of metabolism:
The student knows the main endocrine glands of the body, the hormones they produce, and their effects. The student understands the interaction between endocrine glands and the biological feedback mechanisms that maintain hormonal balance.
- Reproductive system:
The student understands the structure and function of the male and female reproductive systems, can explain the menstrual cycle, fertilization, implantation, and gastrulation. The student knows the structure and function of the placenta.

All social and health care students are welcome to register for the implementation. Students who are not part of the 24TOKASA group will be accepted in the order of registration. The maximum number of students for the course is 60. Stidents in the implementation will be devided in to 3 small groups A, B and C.
Scheduled meetings are mandatory, excluding voluntary team guidance sessions.
Participation in the orientation and small group meeting is mandatory. If a student cannot attend the orientation and small group meeting, they cannot participate in the course. If the student has a compelling reason for their absence, they must contact the responsible teacher before the orientation.
If a student is absent from the Sote Virtual Lab visit, they can make up for it by attending with another group. The student must arrange the visit directly with the teacher of the other small group.
If a student is absent from the final seminar, the compensation must be agreed upon with their own small group teacher.
If a student does not participate in the course according to the above instructions, they may retake the course in the following semester.
The implementation plan may be updated before the course orientation.
